The British government is set to progress with using the total value of frozen Russian holdings to support Ukraine's war effort, PM Sir Keir Starmer has announced.

In a joint statement, the heads of state of the UK, the French Republic, and Germany stated that this joint measure would increase strain on Russia's leader Vladimir Putin and urge Russia to come to the table.

They clarified that the decision would be executed in strong partnership with the US.
